Round Rock City Council

Decisions made at Thursday night’s meeting of the Round Rock City Council: Approved the zoning for La Frontera, a 328-acre mixed-use development that is expected to feature a 16-screen movie theater, at least seven restaurants and major retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Circuit City, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse and others.  The plans for the $500 million development, at the intersection of FM 1325 and Interstate 35, also include multifamily apartments, four office buildings as high as 12 stories, and an office complex.
