Ben & Jerry's store opens in Round Rock

Ben & Jerry's first Texas store opens in Round Rock Central Texans and their sweet teeth now have another cause to celebrate: Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream is opening its first Texas store in Round Rock's own La Frontera Shopping Center.

The ice cream company has made a name for itself with delicious frozen treats with unforgettable names: Cherry Garcia, Chunky Monkey and Phish Food, to name a few. Sundaes, milkshakes, ice cream pints, pops and sandwiches are a few of the frozen goodies available. Freshly baked goods such as cookies and brownies are also available if you have a taste for unfrozen treats. A visit to Ben & Jerry's is truly a unique and fun family experience with customer-focused and friendly staff. Off-site catering for events of any size is always an option.

Think your diet won't allow ice cream? Think again. Ben & Jerry's has recently launched a healthy product line of flavors called Carb Karma with only 2 to 5 net carbs per serving. On a no-sugar, no-fat or low-fat regimen? No problem. Ben & Jerry's has a product that will cool you down and fill you up - guilt free.

In addition to tasty ice cream, Ben & Jerry's has gained fame with its socially conscious business practices. Ben & Jerry's ice cream is free of rGBH, or recombinant bovine growth hormone, a controversial genetically engineered hormone used in dairy farming. The Round Rock store intends to support local community organizations with events, fundraisers and donations.
