World Market opens Round Rock store

A new World Market store is opening Oct. 4 in Round Rock.

The store occupies 18,000 square feet at 200 Sundance Parkway in the La Frontera Shopping Center.

World Market sells imported home decor items, tabletop accessories, decorative gifts, and gourmet foods and beverages.

The Round Rock store is the retailer's fourth location in the Austin area. Other stores are at 9333 Research Blvd. in Austin, 11066 Pecan Park Blvd. in Cedar Park and 5601 Brodie Lane in Sunset Valley.

Oakland, Calif.-based Cost Plus Inc. [Nasdaq: CPWM], which owns the World Market chain, was founded in 1958. The company operates about 130 stores.
