La Frontera's next: Krispy Kreme will be moving into Dell Country in December. It plans to build its third location on FM 1325 in the popping new La Frontera area near Round Rock. Before Christmas, the "hot doughnuts now" sign should flash next to Lowe's.

Is the town of Round Rock big enough for two major doughnut slingers? Yup. Bet it is. Besides, Krispy Kreme will be on one side of Interstate 35 and Lone Star Bakery (Round Rock doughnuts) on the other side, farther up the road near RM 620.
